But anyway, from what I can see and that I've read, this game is closer to Freelancer but with a greater emphasis on customisation.
Thank you for your support.
DUDE ! thats exactly it! Ive have tried several, no a lot, no a SH*TLOAD of space games out there to find something which learned from freelancer and took all the good things from it into the HD world of today. And everything that happend was a lot of hot air about overpriced and overhyped games.
Actually i also gave up on finding something like that, but- i am very close to trying it again with this game ^^
Thanks for your reply, i know it's hard to have to be compared to other games but freelancer is so awsome ^^ as already said, most of space games are under this reference.
But could you answer to the existance or not of these elements :
free world, hidden spots, trade system, stargates, Differents nations u can visit
Thanks
But THIS- already looks like it delivers planetary flight, which FL never managed, and a bit better asteroid/close flying, and of course better resolution.
...So, what everyone else is saying. FL got a framework pretty much right, taking that in another direction could be awesome.
I finished FL a couple times, and did some multi, but X3 was so complicated that I lost interest after like a half hour. And Battlecruiser was mostly crap for about 5 minutes. Meticulously crafted crap with crap graphics.
This is exactly what's keeping the $20 in my wallet right now. The store description is lacking and the trailer and screenshots don't show the UI or any of how the game actually plays. It looks neat, but I don't want to drop money on another lobby shooter-- would like some info on how the world works.
so were you disappointed is it open world/sandbox like freelancer?
