Game won't start anymore

Nowadays, whenever I try to play STFU, it just closes the split second it boots up. What's going on and how can I fix it?

I have the exact same problem, asearch of the program directory on steam, doesnt show any .txt files

I have no idea where these .log files are.
This game used to work fine a year ago, only thing I've changed is updated Windows 10 to Creators update.

The same thing is happening to me. I haven't been able to play this since I bought it a month ago. Help! No idea where to find the .txt files.

I figured out what the problem was... I had previously played the game on a high-res monitor. When I then tried to launch the game on my laptop (with a standard 1080p screen) it would simply bomb out. I think you can find the config file and manually edit it. It should work then.

For anybody using Comodo antivirus, make sure autocontainment isn't killing off the program.

OMG yes this was it for my own case. Wow why is comodo blocking this and not other things? And why didn't it let me know? What a jerk.

I found a Fix in Case STFU taps out directly after Start. Edit the config.txt, in Screen Resolution to Window Mode, and then you can change it ingame to Fullscreen (Window). The exclusive Fullscreen Mode is the Crux about that Error..
