Why was the game removed from steam?

I know Platine Dispositif a while back removed all their games from Steam, so it wasn't just this game but also the Gundemonium trilogy, but I don't know why.

Apparently it was because of an expiring contract with the publisher, but the developer said the games might come back to PC if there's enough request, but given that this initial statement was over a year ago and nothing has happened since I wouldn't be too hopeful https://twitter.com/PdPlatine/status/1151484322005655552?s=20

You can buy a key from the internet. Usually don't recomend buying keys from sites other than steam and isthereanydeal.com but this is an exception.

^That's what I did....was bummed the trophies were nerfed from the old PC version but the 15% runs were brutal.
