The Tudor Mansion board is identical to the physical game, and the Black Adder Resort board has a unique layout. Completing achievements unlocks lore for the characters and boards.
On top of the classic rules of Cluedo, there are two more modes: Clue Cards, which speed up the game and are identical to the physical game, and Ultimate Detective, which has everyone move directly from room to room, and when a Suggestion is made, players only answer that they have at least one of the cards, and every player must answer. Each player is also given a token at the start of the game that can be traded to another player to ask if that player has a specific card.

What Emeraldwing said. But I'd like to add that the Black Adder Resort isn't a unique layout. It's actually based on Hasbro's new Clue Conspiracy board game that came out a few months back. It takes place at a resort. Where you play in teams. One team tries to protect someone and the other team tries to set traps to unalive him.

It's true that it's based on Conspiracy, but I've seen the promo pics and while the Rooms and Weapons are all the same, Conspiracy doesn't use the same board format as the original Cluedo. I was referring to how the board is shaped.

This above post just answered the whole "is this game woke" question.

As a complete none racist. 1/4 Colombian, married a full Singaporean girl.
However.
When the original CLUE game cast were all white. (Even in the movie.)
But now all the white characters are either old, Mustard, Peacock, or lesbian. White.
Whatever Green is. And looking at the Store page guessing Plum is homosexual.
And the only attractive, woman is Scarlet who is now black.

This is the very definition of woke.

Yes a few folks like "the message" pushed into games, movies etc.
But numbers, stats, and sales speak for themselves.
As seen by.
A game that is based on such a world wide, (since 1943,) beloved IP as this.
That obviously by the look of the Store page,- (apart from having the "message" shoehorned) -has had a lot of work put into it.
And that has been out for 18 months, (Aug 2023) Should have a ton more than 229 reviews.
And should have 50 had times the sales.

No hate, just another disappointment, that a game that could have been 100% more successful.
Has been pushed into the "modern audience" myth,
And again the figures show this.
Along with all the other games, AAA, to Indie, that have suffered, due to being made for the political agenda, rather than, "games for gamers"

We have all seen a massive change, and push-back across the board, in the past year, people voting with their wallets.
As well as a world wide shift, back to normality.
