change resolution????
How can I change my resolution in the game?

I have a monitor with a resolution of 3440x1440 and some things are "cut off" in the image.
I especially notice this when I sit at my PC in the tower and look at the programs. The smiley is almost not displayed at all for me and other things too....

When I start the game and I'm supposed to set the gam value, there's something at the top of the picture in white letters, but I can't read it because it's also "cut off".

Me too, I have 3840x1600.

It's almost 2024 and a dev can't cope with screen resolutions? FFS...

Maybe try this. In Steam, when the Steam launcher is open. Viewing from your game library, select and right click on the game Fears to Fathom - Ironbark Lookout then select its Properties. From the game's properties you should already be on the General tab. Now try adding this command line into LAUNCH OPTIONS.

You can either type in or copy and paste the following below:

-screen-width 3440 -screen-height 1440 -screen-fullscreen 1

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3102353688

Now close the game's properties window when you are done typing or pasting this line in the command above. Now PLAY the game through Steam.

WARNING
I cannot guarantee that ultra-wide resolutions are visual glitch free. And that command line I suggested toggles fullscreen, so window mode is: -screen-fullscreen 0 . However, window mode may not work properly either. Do assume the yellow text dialogues from the introduction and near the end of the game might be cut off. Seems like most people who had ultra wide screens with F2F continue to have this issue. There is not much that can be done, but the game itself that is running should be OK.

I don't remember having problems with the previous episodes...this one starts only full screen and terribly cropped. The only way to play in ultrawide is with black bars on the side. To force black bars put this in the launch options:

-screen-width 2560 -screen-height 1440 -screen-fullscreen 0

I checked the other episodes and yes I was playing in 21:9 whitout problems in those......but it's fine, for a 2 hours game black bars are still better than a terrible crop cutting out screen items.
