Any tips for playing without a mouse?
I use my laptop to play, and I'm finding it difficult to complete the complex orders without a mouse especially in the Asian levels.

There are some good tips for that!

ESC button - Call the Options Menu.
SPACE button - Pause the game.
TAB button - Substitute for the Middle Mouse Click

Left and Right Mouse Clicks are understandable to an every Burger Shop manager.

I've always thought that Burger Shop is pretty hard to play with a laptop touch pad. If you have a touch screen you can enable the "Touch Screen" option so that the game plays similarly to on a phone or tablet.

You can also assign custom keys for left-click, middle-click, and right-click by editing params.xml in the game install directory.

I would like to customize my buttons. I have also found the file, but I don't know what I need to change. Can you help me? No matter what I try, it doesn't work.

Oh sorry, I should have described it better. You have to uncomment the key settings. Here's an example params.xml with a/s/d for left/middle/right click:

<!-- If you want to make custom parameters that don't get reset with every Burger Shop 3 Steam update, then create a file called params_user.xml which has your custom parameters in it. Both files will be loaded, so you only need to put the parameters that you want to change in the params_user.xml file. Put them in a <Properties> tag. --> <Properties> <String id="Partner">Steam</String> <Boolean id="FullScreen">false</Boolean> <String id="PartnerImage1">_gobit,200</String> <String id="LooseFilePath">test</String> <String id="Key_LeftClick">a</String> <String id="Key_MiddleClick">s</String> <String id="Key_RightClick">d</String> <String id="Key_Pause">p</String> <!-- Song IDs for MusicTypes are 1 = Burger Shop Theme 2 = Bongo Cake 3 = Sunny Side Up 4 = Too Many Burgers on the Bun 5 = Sailing the Cola Sea 6 = Ninja vs BurgerBot --> <Integer id="MusicType_Diner"> 1</Integer> <Integer id="MusicType_Mexican"> 2</Integer> <Integer id="MusicType_Italian"> 3</Integer> <Integer id="MusicType_Dessert"> 4</Integer> <Integer id="MusicType_Misc"> 5</Integer> <Integer id="MusicType_Asian"> 6</Integer> </Properties>

Thanks for your example. I was able to find my mistake. Now it works.

Thank you so much for your reply! I've been playing the burger shop games for years and it's great to see the developer engaging with the community. I'll definitely try that
