Game freezes when talking to Praetorian Guardian about joining Praetorian guard.

This is the exact line of dialogue where the freeze occurs; the problem repeats itself however many times I try it. I'm assuming it has something to do with the guard's previous "wait here" order triggering the 'waiting' subroutine (you know, where everything slowly fades out and back in again to simulate time passing), but that isn't triggered - or isn't triggered correctly - and I'm locked in to that one screen with a single dialogue option that I can not activate.

Am I missing something which is triggering a script fail, or is this just a bug that didn't get worked out? I'll check to make sure other factions don't have the same problem, and if need be, do a reinstall (guess I was planning on an export/import anyway).

Just wanted to be clear on this, and report the bug I found either way.


UPDATE:

The only time that speaking to the Praetorian Guardian here works, is after I've already joined either JKK or Biocorp. The "wait" cycle DOES trigger in this case, and the game gets back to me without freezing allowing free choice of the dialogue options (both of which lead to no further interaction with the Praetorian faction, of course) - and it is not locked/frozen as it is with the 'unemployed' state.

This tells me the glitch may be directly related to an improper trigger of the wait cycle while the character condition is still as 'unemployed' by any of the three oligarch companies. It sucks that Praetorians aren't currently an option to work for due to this bug, but this isn't game-stopping for me seeing as I can still work for Coretech or JKK.

Would you mind uploading your save here for me to check? Dropobox, Google Drive or similar will do. The dialogue works properly on the version I have, and the players have been happily joining Praetorian Security for four or so years so it's a bit of a mystery as to what is causing this for you.
