Sniper Rifle Parts?

I am trying a new build this time around, got crafting skills in order to make a sniper rifle. Problem is, I have yet to find any parts for them. Anybody know where to get the parts to craft them?

random vendors, just make your rounds buy checking with them all. SSG, the junkyard and Blain if you havent killed him.

I have learned not to bother with crafting until I have gone threw the game once on my new character. It is best to just repair and use what you find at first. Now after the big junkyard fight you will have lots of good weapons and armor to choose from, including sniper rifles.

I actually do just character building my first two times playing the game and then I craft on my third run from level 16-18.
