It's an RPG, not a FPS for one.

its a strange mix between metro 2033 and the first games of the fallout series... I WANT THIS GAME! :D

That was the first thing that entered my head when I saw it, the idea of the game is a complete rip-off of Metro, right down to there being station-states. Only with gameplay closer to the original 2 Fallout games. Not something I'm going to buy, but I can see the appeal. I'd rather play the original Fallout games though.

More like inspired by than rip-off of metro.

Nothing to do with Metro 2033 whatsoever. It's an isometric turnbased rpg styled after the ones from 10-15 years ago.

I never read the book actually. Got it on my shelf (bought it a long while back at a book fair because it was so similar to what I was making), but I don't have time.

Never played the games, as I don't play shooters at all.

I also like the metro 2033 franchise, so whats the problem with him making a RPG set in a similar universe? who gives a damn even IF his inspiration came from it? it does not seem like anyone else has had the idea to make something like this yet.

Ya know the Hellgate london is also in train stations and tubes.....You want to call the a Metro-Rip_off thing to?
Zoпe Sep 25, 2013 @ 7:12pm
The OP is absolutely right. This game is such a rip off. So is Metro. We all know that Pong did the whole player controls and graphics thing first. And Metro is clearly a total rip off of Doom. I mean, holding guns and shooting people!? God forbid you have to come up with new ideas Metro.

I can’t believe so many games steal these ideas without even giving Pong and Doom credit. It’s such a shame the industry is run by talentless unoriginal hacks. All I’m asking is that new games borrow absolutely nothing from any game that’s come before them, but I guess, to those that are only interested in releasing games this decade, that’s too much to ask.

This game is a rip off of the sims and god of war because it has people in it (sims) and it has the letter R in the title (god of war). It just makes me so mad when games rip off other ideas like that.

Yea, im a huge fan of the original metro game by deep silver, but in all honesty this game looks alot more like a love note to brian fargo's original fallout. Its like these people think that metro coined the post apoclypitc conecept. Pretty sure metro specifically only got brought up because of the recent sequal or else no one would have compared it specifically.
Anywho, KUDOS on the game looks like it will be great isometric title which are deffintly more sparce in todays releases. I belive your still finishing the game, correct? Any other projects you have plans for?

That would be Wolfstein Castle, as it was the first FPS ever made.
