How to fight Death Stalkers?

Came Up against these things called death stalkers, went my own build.

Full con/condition stoicism.

When I get like 35% hp I can tank em forever and immune to stun, so not TOO MUCh of a problem I just been ignoring and run to next area.

But I can't kill em, only managed to kill one as it stood and fought me, as soon as they attack me it seems they disappear onto the roof?

How do I attack them? I tried Aoeing where they were but *shrug*

Did manage to find em if I just picked a direction and ran a bit, apparently just stealthed, not like a roof mechanic.

Thank god I got paranoia, still any tricks would be helpful, awkward fights.

I thought Styg implemented maximum mechanical resistance (which also mean melee immunity armor set no longer exists)? Do you have high mechanical DT as well?

The general ways against Death Stalker would be caltrops to slow their movement; Fire to herd them to specific area; Bear trap/stun to bypass their dodge/evasion; Toxic gas grenade to stack debuff/soft them up in order to kill them.

edited: wearing a high quality double low shield might be the edge you need to safely tank them with high mechanical DT and/or damage reduction.

All of what destroyer said, flares will reveal them if they're in it's AoE when it lands, and in a pinch you can bump them out of stealth.

when they teleport away they will always go to the closes tile out of your vision or at the very least somewhere close, a good bit of the time you can find them quickly just knowing that. aside from what other have told you the only thing i can really think of is if possible, retreat to a room, throw caltrops in front of it and close the door. let them pile up in front of the door, open and just rain down grenades on them.

Lotsa flares. Also, the hyperallergic debuff is too grave if you consume something. Better to just endure the damage.

Bear traps completely trvialise crawlers and their ilk.

Place traps around yourself, create some noise, and then watch them get stuck and become easy pickings.
