Im a digital hoarder, im looking to bypass the max carry limit but with my limited knowledge of cheat engine im unable to find the memory address of that value, any workaround/info on this? thank you

That seems to be the go to guide for character editing in Underrail. I never actually got around to using cheat engine on a playthrough, so I cannot comment on exactly how it works for this game, other than the fact that the developer tried to prevent modifying the game by encrypting the run-time code, so doing anything on your own would require some time investment compared to using the scripts that were created by the folks at fearless revolution.

For what i saw yesterday the problem was that these are old tables, didnt work on the current expedition dlc versión of today.

You can download from his web, for simple use there is several videos on youtube that explain basics, on this game thou, simple scan values for carry weight its not enough to locate it, and old tables are obsolete.

I don't feel like spending the time to figure out what I should keep and what I should drop when looting. I would rather spend my time playing the game.

Cheat Engine seems a hassle because I have read you need to have a PSI enabled character and be in an area with NPC's.

I prefer to just load up a program and press a F key to remove weight restrictions and continue playing. No weight limit is all I care about. Maybe if I had been playing for hundreds of hours like some people, I would know exactly what to keep and what to drop and it would only add seconds to my game play to drop or not pick up items and I wouldn't care, but I am a newbie to the game it is an aspect I don't want to have to deal with right now.

Only the first time you start the game. Just create a new character and skip through the tutorial stuff, take the red pill, then save the game near Ezra or someone. You can now load that save to activate the table, then load into your main save. Takes like 30 seconds.

I just followed your instructions Radiosity. New Char, take red pill, save game by Ezra, open underrailmerged (which opens CE), then try to click on boxes, but non of them are clickable. I just get the windows chime noise, but no x in the box.

What am I doing wrong?

Otherwise I am also open to other ways to make it so my character can carry unlimited weight. That is the only thing I care about changing.

Just download the BepInEx mod and the plugin with it from nexus mods. It has a config that generates after starting the first time that lets you change carry weight and all sorts of stat stuff. Even has an option for the fishing feat to happen faster.

You did attach to the running process first, right? Top left buttons in CE, click the computer icon with a little magnifying glass over it, this will open a list of running processes. Double click UnderRail.exe. Now open the table, it should show a prompt asking if you want to execute the lua script, click yes. Now you can check the box next to UnderRail AOB Script; main.
