Did anybody friend the faceless?
I don't want to start game one more time. Is there any way to make faceless really ally, not just neutral? And if it is, what kind of info and benefits they provide?

I heard some people did, benefit is you get access to Medical shop which is much needed in Deep Cavern (Tchortist Outpost only has an armoury, no medical) and Faceless Commander is supposed to help you in fighting Tchort according to the dialogue lines at end game.

Yes. You have to:
- Let the Faceless mindreader at Rail Crossing probe you and kill Buzzer.
- Help the Faceless group near Foundry.
- Rescue the Faceless at Core City.

Gives you a ton of lore explaining what the Faceless are, etc. Other benefits I'd rather not spoil.

And who they are? Realy I don't want spend another 10-15 hours just to know that the faceless some sort of telepatic molepeople burrowed deep undeground 100 years ago and wiki doesn't seem to be updated about DC in near time. So somebody explain who they are.
>and kill Buzzer
For ♥♥♥♥ sake, it's just stupid. How should I know that it's necessary condition?
Omenpapa Jan 5, 2016 @ 2:55am
I'm not in DC yet, but that condition to kill Buzzer is a wierd one. The faceless there gives no reason why they want him dead, just that they want him dead. With a persu check u can let him reconsider this, and he says that he might come back later to finish the job.

If that really ruins the relationship with the faceless, than this is just plan stupid. I mean think about it... you ruined the relationship with a successfull persuation check.. like wtf ^^

Regarding the lore, I won't spoil much other than the Faceless, Tchort, and Biocorp are all tightly knit to each other. There's some bad blood between them. The Faceless at DC explains this to you in detail.

I'd leave the rest for the players to discover themselves.

Does the persuade check to let Buzzer live let you be allied with them ? It seems silly that it wouldn't, I've done the other things.

Don't be ♥♥♥♥♥. Have a look at any game wiki, including this game. If somebody want to know spoilers they should have this opportunity. I don't have so much time to replay it one more time just because stupid game design. It's tough.

Other posts on the Underrail forum suggest that this will NOT affect you negatively in the Faceless's eyes. However, one poster in another steam discussion said that you MUST let Buzzer die.

Personally I'd trust the Underrail forums a little more

Less than that. I don't know the exact value, but I managed to save Buzzer the first time I did that quest, and my character had 3 will and was definitely not level 16+.

Don't know anything about faceless shop. You can get some free medicine and ammo from them just being a good guy in DC. Actually you need to be prepared before descent to DC, 100 of advanced hypos should be enough and easy to find.
player1 Mar 5, 2016 @ 4:12am
There is no such thing as Faceless shop. One one centaur that can give you supply packages or ammo or medicine.

300+ hours and just hit deep caverns
let the first mindreader have at me but killed him later to save buzzer.
Saved the injured cage faceless
helped foundry faceless

Still only options were end dialogue FIGHT FIGHT

Really dude? all cause of buzzer?
doing the right thing shot me in the foot.

How many faceless you actually kill matters, too. Even if you sovle all normal encounters to their liking, if you end up killing too many faceless outside of the elevator fight they will be hostile.
This is a realtively new change - more details:

Oh and you should not accept the quest from the tchortists to scout talos outpost/rescue the prisoner before the faceless at talos have read your mind - if they see you accepted a mission against them they will turn on you.

If the only ones you killed were at buzzers, you should get a neutral reaction from them. They help you, but not a whole lot and they dont tell you much.

They don't like it when you kill them. Next time try not killing them and they'll be a lot happier with you.
