LMG builds

Going for a juggernaut machine gun build. So far its pretty ridiculous, tank the damage with heavy armor and burst down enemies is amazing. Only downsides is the cost and "collateral damage". Also you really need a back up weapon for when you need to reload or to clean up. Trying to mitigate with high mercantile and having a decent rifle to go along with it. Any other tips.

Yeah, recycle every weapon you aren't gonna sell to craft Repair Kits. Use refurbished Brno and N60 so you can use most common ammo types. I never buy ammo, I just use what I find. It's always good to use Toxic Grenades and Focus Stim to kill them faster.

yeah doing stuff like that. Much farther in on this character (mid twenties) and trying out miniguns. I wouldn't bother at moment (use lmgs and grenade launchers instead) they just aren't worth it when both take up a lot of AP to just shoot and overkill enemies even worse. Overall not worth it since your lugging around heavy weapon, heavy ammo and high stat requirements for something the lmgs just do better.

i've read that miniguns are going to get reworked since everyone agrees they are not worth using over LMG's

Given Styg's track record, I'd half-way expect an LMG nerf as well.

I started a new run on DOM with pickpocket. So far it is pretty nice, you get a lot of ammo and a bit cash on the side too.
I also took disassemble - meh, not sure, so far it is not that great.

Also, do not sell leather from rathounds etc. craft leather armors from them, recycle them and craft repair kits to sell.

Oh the nerf is happening 100%. Heavy Metal just shreds everything.
