I created a translation tool.

procedure
1. Drag and drop the "data" folder to GET.bat.
2. Rename "StringsADD.txt" to "OLD.txt".
3. Copy and paste "OLD.txt" and make it "NEW.txt".
4. Open "NEW.txt" in a text editor and translate it.
5. Run “JOIN.bat”.
6. If "Strings.txt" already exists
Add the contents of "ADD_Strings.txt" to "Strings.txt".
If "Strings.txt" does not exist
Rename "ADD_Strings.txt" to "Strings.txt".
7. Rename “LABEL_StringsADD.txt” to “OLD.txt”.
8. Copy and paste "OLD.txt" and make it "NEW.txt".
9. Open "NEW.txt" in a text editor and translate it.
10. Run “JOIN.bat”.
11. If "LABEL_Strings.txt" already exists
Add the contents of "ADD_Strings.txt" to "LABEL_Strings.txt".
If "LABEL_Strings.txt" does not exist
Rename "ADD_Strings.txt" to "LABEL_Strings.txt".
Do not mix the contents of Strings.txt within LABEL_Strings.txt.
The game may crash.
12. Drag and drop the "data" folder to SET.bat.


The fonts folder contains Japanese fonts.
I created a font with MonoGame and rewritten the font's header part with the original font content.
When making
The "defaultCharacter" setting must be enabled.
We recommend specifying the same character as the original "*".
If you disable the setting, when you try to display unavailable characters,
Game crashes. (black screen)


We have also created software to rewrite the text in the "underrail.exe" file, and we are including it in the Japanese version and distributing it specially.
However, since it cannot exceed the number of characters in the original text, it is inconvenient for languages other than Japanese where kanji cannot be used, so it is excluded.

ReadMe.txt -> Will this part solve the problem?

.NET5.0 is required for operation.
.NETFramework4.0 is required to rewrite the text within the Exe.
If the full path (address) of this folder location contains half-width spaces, it will not work correctly.

Thanks, I have installed NET5.0 &.NETFramework4.0 seem to be fine ( i have already the good version for Netframe).

But now even if I don't modifiate NEW.txt (from the step N°3) and when I use the Join.bat
it get me some error message... ><

"Erreur en entree:Impossible de trouver le fichier script "E:\UnderrailJPTR2 share\UnderrailJPTR2 share\script\ica.vbs".

It has been fixed, so please download it again or
Open join.bat in a text editor
Change ""合体" to "JOIN".

Thanks for the tool. I tested it and it works quite well. The question is whether there is a method to extract and translate also the GUI elements (New Game, Options, etc.) and the name labels of the objects in the game by moving the mouse (e.g. Desk, File Cabinet, Shelf, etc.)?

Unfortunately, the limitation of character strings to the original length is a big problem. For example, in Polish, it’s difficult to find a translation, especially for individual words, that doesn’t exceed the original length.
Btw, I still can't find some words like Desk, File Cabinet :)

The character limit is technically solvable, but since the character limit is not such a big issue in Japanese, I don't have the time to do so at the moment. I'm sorry.
I think you can find names such as Desk by scrutinizing various files, but I don't have the time to do that either.
