Can the natives (Sørmirbæren) be befriended?

I was just wondering if there was a questline where they weren't hostile but they seem to be aggressive no matter what.

Why would they want to befriend invaders?

Ferryman made friends with them by killing one of their guys.
If you follow his example and kill them all they'll probably stop attacking. Try that.

There's one semi-hidden guy you can have a peaceful interaction with but it requires a lot of trial and error as well as high int. Other than that, no. Once you learn more about them you'll understand why.

Well i spoke with Yngwar and their lore and story seemed quite fleshed out from that, and there are a few of them with positions and names so i assumed maybe there was a questline for them

Their named NPCs are not so much a questline as they are a to-do list to get some peace.
