Pure psychokinesis lacks damages that are not on cooldown - unless you consider spamming electrokinesis (with its high cost) as the viable solution. I think PK should be complemented with something else, be it a weapon or another school, or monk-style fisting (max Will with enought melee to touch or will/str mix works either way, str only with low will is viable if heavy on support feats).
TC (*) only is a treat, so i heard, so TC + PK walls and others crowd control should be very viable. But i usually complete psy with something else more physical to finish things, except for the quad-school aforementionned.
(*) Edit : sorry, was thinking "TM" and not TC, but Thought Control still good :p Third best crowd control (after PK and MT), and PK will be a good complementary damage to TC, yes.
