Sledgehammer perks

What perks do you use for a sledgehammer build? Im playing hammer tin can wizard and i dont know what to take next. Current perks-

Stoicism
Conditioning
Corporeal Projection
Force User
Premeditation
Juggernaut
Fast Metabolism

Stats: 11 str, 7 con, 7 will, 6 dex, 6 int, 3 agi, 3 per


I can go crit route, can for for general melee damage perks, more psi perks, more defensive perks... Not sure. Took weaponsmith at level 12 but i can easily roll back. Or even switch to a fist puncher dude.

You gotta know where the mage is first so you can initiate combat manually around the corner. Meaning you gotta die a few times. Pyromancers and telekenetics i can tolerate. But not thought control, oh no.

Tough to be a slow tincan, what can i say.

My fav sledge is the fast one. Ful Str, 10 Agi, 6 Con, 5 Int. Run in high quality tabis (preferably hopper), with drifter tattoo,Blitz, Sprint, Hit and Run, Fancy Footwork and Strider. Hit like train, move like one too. Decent toughness with 6 con and decent leather like ancient rat along with dodge/eva and full intimidation Yell.

Guys he's clearly running a niche/meme build and not a well optimized self synergistic one. Try being more fun people, also he already has the build going we're passed the planning phase.

Expose Weakness or Pummel are solid choices. Since you're not hard forcing crits Bone Breaker wouldn't be too much use. Also since your using crit consider psychostatic electricity.

He wasn't against changes in the build, so we explained to him what those changes should be for more fun experience. His build is all right. He specifically said that he wasn't sure about running crit build. He seems content with the build he got through advice.

6 dex is BAD on hammers. Not having full Str is not good either. Should put those three points either to Str, Con or Agi (if you want Sprint).

Pummel is one of the best feats for hammers, it is more AP effective than your regular attacks even without putting your spec points in it. You do half mech the damage for half the AP, but all on-hit effects (like elctroshock) are in full strength and you also do some debuff to enemy dodge. More than that it fits greatly into action economy of the hammer. When you get lifting belt your regular hammer attacks cost 20 AP, so you are left with 10 AP free, which is just enough to use Pummel, so you can use three attacks instead of 2 once in a while. And if you put spec points into it, you can get occasional 0 AP attack which is as awesome as it sounds. People who trash this feat are complete idiots (well, rather idiot, singular, since it was only one guy).

Unless you want to go Survival Instincts route (which is completely unnecessary since properly built sledge kills mobs with regular attacks without need for crits and with SI you really reduce your survivability) any crit feats and Dex are completely unnecessary and you should totally ignore them.

Why only 8 STR? Hammers are the single most STR-demanding weapon, you're better off knocking Will down to 5 or your INT to 4 and boosting your STR to the max instead.

Wizards often have less than max Str due to multi attribute dependency. Iirc even one from hammer bible starts from 8 Str. So it's ok.

Tungsten tank with psi has 7 Will, 5 Int, 6 Agi and 10 Con. He doesn't get full Str even if he starts with 10 (he doesn't he starts with 8)
