Subway Samurai with no psi help?

I want to try a sword build and while I get the gist of the other types of melee from looking at builds sword still confuses me a bit with how it can build a more heavy knight style or a dex ninja style but still requires some strength anyway

I also want to without psi because I like playing non magic characters in stuff but it seems like melee is so dependent on temporal manipulation to do anything. Then again it may just be because the build I see are usually min maxed for the hardest difficulty and I'll be fine floundering around on normal.

So what I'm basically asking is just whatever tips or links to build guides for non psi sword you may have. Bonus points if it's not a glass cannon build because I prefer more bruiser like combat. for example I originally planned to run a knife build loosely based on destroyors dex glove build in this thread https://stygiansoftware.com/forums/index.php?topic=2785.0 because I figured that with points and con and the heavier expedition leather armors I could have a character that wasn't made of wet toilet paper without being a max strength metal armor build. For sword I don't care if it is str or dex based but I would prefer at least not being pure glass cannon. It may just not be possible with how points have to spread around.

this what i rolled with, bread and butter of the build is flurry but you will have some attacks or be nimble enough to escape if flurry fails and you get in a tight spot.
