The Rig - Any quests?

Are there any quests associated with The Rig ? I seem to have stumbled on it but not much to do there.

Yes. There is one on the pirate side of the DLC, where you have to sabotage and raid it. If you don't accomplish part one completely undetected and without killing, your pirate "friends" let you do part two on your own, too.

That said, I haven't found a way to do it, because to deactivate the guns you need to use a switch. And once you do that, a pirate comes in and switches it back on.

Thank you. I have no idea how to become firends of the pirates :D

But for the switch I believe a way to do it is with silenced weapon. Get a guard to come in and kill with silenced weapon before they can shoot. Silenced SMGs would work or crossbows.

That's how I completed some other quest, forgot which one.

IIRC you become neutral with pirates after negotiations with their boss to release some important NPC. You get the call from radio when this happen.
