So, trying to figure this area out. Once my character made the persuade check to find out what the place was, I went to everyone I could think of (including Gorsky) to see if I could get them on board with damaging the infrastructure of the base just enough to make the Protectorate give up on the lab while someone else took it over and made the elevator functional.

I also may have lost my patience and prematurely wiped out every witness in the lab in preparation for those intentions and trying to figure out how to set the TNT properly.

I mean, I think it'd be a nice touch if we could just get Gorsky to use his new tunneler at the elevator shaft or something and it became a three way quick travel spot between the derelict warehouse, Epione Lab, and 'Opis?' vault (the lost vault off in the middle of nowhere) as a dungeon.

You set the TNT by left clicking on the support pillars. A text dialog window opens with the option: 1) Set charges.

Hmm? Oh, I got that after I looked at the wiki, turns out i just broke the Protectorate quest chain. Honestly don't mind since I cleaned up on XP and there's now no chance that I will be ordered to gas what is left of the Free Drones.

Question: anyone know if it was actually the free drones who gassed Anastasia, or the CA Unit pretending to be them in order to drum up hostility for the Free Drones?

Gassed? She was attacked with acid weapon and you know at least one gang using that weapon if a fights - Acid Hunters. Just like they killed Tery Baker and severely injured Lory Baker.

Weird, in conversation she talked about how the gas got in her throat and it was mutagenic in nature so her throat is permanently screwed up. I'll load a earlier save in case i mixed up what she said and the description.

Yeah, re-read it and it was both chem launchers and gas grenades like the toxic grenades the player can craft.
