Critique my build
Hello there, fellow min maxers. I decided to return to Underrail after 2.5 years break and this is a build i came up with.

Attributes

Strength, agility, will- 3. Dump stats.
Dexterity 10, 3 level ups go here. Needed 14 to shoot laster pistol 5 times.
Perception 9, 1 level up goes here. Needed 10 for sharpshooter.
Intelligence 7, needed for perks.
Constitution 5, health and Conditioning perk.

Skills

Guns, Evasion- max.
Tailoring, Electronics, Lockpicking, Traps, Hacking, Persuasion, Mechanics- not max.
Dodge- all left overs go here. I dont max dodge because my agility is rather poor and will be wearing goggles.

Feats

Level 1- Paranoia, Recklessness. Recklessness for crits, Paranoia negates Recklessness and helps with detection and initiative. Mines and stealthy enemies were huge pain in the butt.
Level 2- Conditioning. Even at base requirements its still good.
Level 4- High-Technicalities. Damage bonus.
Level 6- Practical Physicist. Critical damage.
Level 8- Nimble.I will be wearing light armor.
Level 10- Skinner. Better armor.
Level 12- Clothier. Better better armor.
Level 14- Critical Power. NOW THATS A LOT OF DAMAGE!
Level 16- Power Management. Dont have anything else to put here.
Level 18- Aimed shot for sharpshooter.
Level 20- Sharpshooter. One last attribute point ups my perception to 10 and i can finally take Sharpshooter.

Alternatively- start with 10 perception and 4 constituition. Leve 2 is aimed shot, level 10 is Sharpshooter, level 20 is conditioning.

Equipment

Infused Rathound Leather amor with Kevlar Overcoat, padded with high density foam.
Infused Pig Leather Striders
Seeker Night Vision Goggles
Efficient Amplified Laser Pistol
Efficient Low Frequency Shield Emitter- i am very afraid of sneaky-stabby guys. Will have this thing turned 100% of the timen in unknown areas.
Groin Guard ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)


Alternatively more mobile (0% armor penalty) variant of armor can be used-
Infused Rathound Leather amor with Antithermic Overcoat, padded with galvanic or insulating foam.
Infused Cave Hopper Leather Striders

Dexterity 10+ ... just why?
You can instead max out perception for damage boost (to compensate for lower number of attacks per round) AND get agility 6 for sprint to be able to kite enemies (and maybe even add some stealth).
Also, no throwing.. why? Nages are VERY powerful.

With 14 dexterity i can make 5 laser pistol shots instead of 4. 10 start, 3 from level ups and 1 from food. 1 more shot- 25% MORE damage, applied before modifiers. More shots- more predictable, less dependant on rng damage output.

Like i said- i did not played for 2.5 years, totally forgot about grenades. I have very little room for them anyway.

Also also- stealth is very much gay and overpowered. I rather avoid it.

5 shots are just that, 5 shots. I.e. some extra damage.
If the difference between 3 shots and 5 shots is only some damage, that will be compensated by having higher perception. Not sure if 3 with higher perception will out-damage 5 without, but they very well might.
Now, having higher agility (higher speed) often means simply taking NO damage because you can break LOS.
Grenades are better than evasion/dodge because evasion/dodge simply reduce damage, and a stunned/dead enemy deals NO damage.

I suppose something like this can be made-
Perception 13, Dexterity 9+1 from food, Agility 6, int 7, rest is 3. But under no cirsumstances i will resort to 3 shots with laser pistol and stealth.

How much damage 1 point of perception gives? I heard people say its 8%. Let us assume that. Lets also assume worst case scenario- 3 laser pistol shots.

Stats- 14 perception, 7 int, no agility, 3 shots.

16% damage from int, 72% damage from perception. 188% damage. 564% damage will be done if all 3 shots connect.

Stats- 13 perception, 7 int, 10 agility, 4 shots. 180% damage bonus. 720% damage will be done if all 4 shots connect.

My origial stats- 10 perception, 7 int, 14 agility, 5 shots. 156% damage bonus. 780% damage will be done if all 5 shots connect.

Max perception is 16, not 14.
So that's 816% with 4 shots, 612% with 3 shots.
Also, with higher perception you have higher chance to actually hit every shot.
Also, damage thresholds (including shields) reduce damage per shot. So 3 higher power shots might very well end up doing more damage to health than 5 with higher total "base" damage.

Why is it 16? You only get 4 level ups and you start with 10.

You get +6 from level ups. Not sure where are you getting 4 from.

Oh right, i though it was every 5th level, not every 4th level. Fair enough. In that case my original build will have 12 perception, 13+1 agility, 7 int and 5 con.

172% damage bons. 860% total damage.

Assuming you are playing at least on hard, difficult fights are seldom, if ever, just a damage race.
You CC enemies, you kite, etc.
At the very least go max throwing to make use of your dexterity. Right now your dex 14 is doing VERY little of what you can potentially get for 4 stat points.

Also, light armor build with no focus on mobility? Again, that's just sub-optimal.

I made another build. It ignores dexterity and uses mostly chem pistols.

Strength 5
Dexterity 6
Agility 6
Constitution 3
Perception 10
Will 3
Intelligence 7

Level 1- oppurtunist, aimed shot
Level 2- sprint
Level 4- steadfast aim
Level 6- cooked shot
Level 8- mad chemist
Level 10- sharpshooter
Level 12- recklessness
Level 14- ???
Level 16- ???
Level 18- ???
Level 20- ???

After level 12 build is pretty much done. No clue what feats to pick next.

Skills- guns, throwing, hacking, lockpicking, mechanics, electronics, chemistery, tailoring.

Equipment- riot gear with shield, infused mutant dog leather boots, all three chem pistols.
