Greater siphoner is basically just regular siphoner but a little higher quality.
Wyrm could I guess be good if you wanted to be tanky but don't have the strength for metal. Also good for laughing at mutants, though that's really specialised and you won't have many mutants left to fight by the time you can make it. And deep worms, but they can still corrode you even with 100% acid resist.
Heartbreaker gives you bonus persuade so that's a way to save skill points if you want to be talky. And it's good for fighting heartbreakers/locusts/shroomlings, but that's pretty specialised too.
Leper I can't really find a use for.
Ancient rathound isn't that good by the way, use pig instead. Or siphoner/regular rathound if you like dodging/crit chance.
Oh my bad I meant whichever leather gave the crit bonus. Thanks for the tips. I'm just playing on normal so it's not like I have to be properly optimized to survive so it's good to hear I can justify using different armors for more than just fashion. Heartbreaker is probably my single favorite looking armor in the game and I intended to put some points into persuasion anyway so I might just wear it after all.
