As I said, yes.
Are you being vague on purpose?
Any particular reason you won't say who's body it is?
Because if you actually know the quest you should know it just "dead body", a Jane Doe.
Ok, this is the first time you say it is female. It is quite weird the way you are behaving. You ask a question then go out of your way to not make it clear exactly what you are talking about.
You see there is another potential death in the Mushroom Caves. If you fail to save Newton during the Hopper Round Up he ends up dead. I've never actually failed that quest, so don't know if what you described was how it plays out or not.
Yet all you had to do was answer the very first question you were asked and it would have cleared it up instead of leaving people to guess.
You wouldn't have mistaken it with newton if you read my initial post and actually know what failing to save newton looks like. Don't try to help if you don't actually know the game, or can't read. You will just confuse things for everyone.
I actually found out how to progress this quest, this quest is locked by the main quest, you can't progress unless you finish GMS part.
I can read just fine. That's why I've been pointing out the holes in your descriptions and why I'm not the only one who's asked you to clarify what body you are talking about.
There is no reading failure. Anyone who has never let Newton die, but knows that he dies if you don't save him, will easily mistake your opening post for talking about him.
After nearly 900 hours in the game, I've never heard of any other body turning up in that area. Hence the question asking for clarification.
But I guess you would rather ♥♥♥♥♥ and whine over multiple posts instead of answer a very simple question when you were asked it the first time, by Tamiore. Who is also someone who knows the game inside and out, as they are one of the only people who regularly streams perma death runs on Dominating difficulty.
So you admit you know nothing about it, then go away.
I admit your initial description made it sound like Newton. And I admit that had you answered the first person to pose the question, you could have cleared it up.
Why post on a forum then act like a ♥♥♥♥ when people respond with reasonable questions?
I would be interested in watching a scan of your brain while people ask you mundane questions. It would be fascinating to see exactly what defect you have.
That's a new quest added with a relatively recent patch. Don't know why everyone is being such a ♥♥♥♥ about it. Especially assuming it's a quest it's so very obviously not if they know as much about the game as they claim to. If you haven't already talk to the doctor, examine the body, and talk to gorsky or some other chief of security I forget who.
Until you finish GMS and unlock junkyard. You can not progress any further in the dead body quest. Once you do finish GMS, more dialogue options open up at the med bay.
I don't know anything further though, still figuring out things as I go.

Once you reach Junkyard you can talk to Kareem, Junkyard food vendor and he'll tell you something about going south, which is pretty much the above dungeon.
