I don't advise using corpses for storage, you're probably okay using human bodies to store items because they never seem to vanish, but mutants and beasties corpses tend to vanish when they respawn - this is assuming you can even stash stuff on a corpse, I've never tried.
You can create your own container anywhere you go, too. Any item you drop becomes a backpack container called "Stuff" on the ground, which as far as I know never gets removed from the game so technically you could create your own stashes if you wanted to? I've never tried using it like that though, I just remember a couple of lighters and compasses sitting in my private quarters in SGS for hours before I finally removed them, lol.
