Assault rifle heavy armor build is brokenly OP in expedition with psi

If you craft a hornet rifle 8.6mm with rapid reloader it costs 10 AP per shot, 30AP per burst.

The new temporal removal psi gives 30 MP (not deduct by armor penalty )and 10 AP

That means 60 AP without adrenaline = 2 burst shot a turn, 3 from feat give free burst if kill enemy with burst.

With 30 MP from psi I can go full metal armor boost to over 80% mechanical resist and still maintain basic mobility to move around.

Currently I'm LV30 and kill everything easily even in expedition hard difficulty.
I think this build can even beat the game easily in dominating difficulty

Rapid reloader and muzzle break and beefcake burst sounds like it would be fun to try. Especially with the increased damage per shot per burst that ARs get.

Ye, even after the burst nerf which excluded smart goggles' and scopes' bonus from affecting it it's still pretty strong, although still boring af. Once i got my armor with my AR build i stopped playing this build a few hours laters and rolled something different.

It has potential to get even more crazy too. If you take the feat that buffs Contraction and put spec points in it it gives you +22 AP. If you put spec points in Commando it gives you +9 AP when it triggers. Combine these and you get 81 AP total, so if you're using a 7.62 hornet you can burst four times. It also lets you burst three times even without anything other than Commando boosting your AP. It's ridiculous.

What in the world could you possibly need to kill that requires that many bullets? You could save a small fortune by using the odd grenade or a sniper rifle.

Ammo is cheap and spamming is fun though.
