Use for Supersteel

Is there any use for me in making supersteel if my character only picked mecahnics and electronics as craftingskills as a smg-user? Are there any templates for supersteel gunparts or ammo? Because on Underrail wiki i only ready about armor and meleeweapons.

You can actually use super steel plates to create special types of ammo (corrosive acid, shock bullets, explosive, etc.), but this is basically a waste of the super steel because you can make the exact same kinds of ammo with standard metal plates, tungsten, or ti-chrome. You can also craft bear traps and throwing knives out of it, but these are all wasteful uses for the same reasons as the special ammo.
Unfortunately, you cannot use it to craft any ranged weapon parts. The best ways to use super steel are to incorporate it into heavy armor (super steel plates), medium armor (super steel sheets), or light armor (infused leather via super steel fibers). You can also use the plates to craft sledgehammers, knives, gloves (heavy or leather, using plates or fibers, respectively), helmets, metal boots, and infused leather tabi boots. Infused leather tabi boots are, in my opinion, the best craftable items in the game at high component quality.

If You have a very high quality level SS fibers you can use it with a very low quality pelt(like siphoner or something) and it will still make a very high quality level suit, just keep that in mind. The high quality siphoner suit is actually really cool to btw

Altos - I used a set of Super steel to make a killer serrated knife. On par for the Kukri (sp). Its now my favorite close-in weapon
