Turn off SFX?

I usually play little games like this when I'm watching something on youtube or the like, is there a way to turn off sound effects or can I only touch music?

Sorry, there's no way to turn off the SFX at the moment, but if you have Windows Vista or later muting the game form the Volume settings should work fine.

I too would like to adjust SFX volume (lower it) but I don't wish to turn it off entirely.

There's currently not a setting for the game's SFX volume separate from the game's music, but in Vista or later you should also be able to lower the the game's overall volume from the Window's volume settings. If you right click the speaker icon in the lower right hand corner and then click "Volume Mixer" you should be able to turn the game down separate from your other running applications.
