Super Amazing Wagon Adventure

Super Amazing Wagon Adventure 100% Complete - Thoughts.
So, needless to say, I really enjoyed this game. For $2.54 it was totally worth it, hell, I'd probably even buy it without the discount. This does contain some spoilers, mainly at the end where I'm going to talk about the Wagons. The first chunk is just me making a short observation on the game modes / survivals.

A quirky Oregon Trail style schmup was pretty great to roll around in, there was laughs, cries, raging, just about the whole spectrum for me. I'd like to briefly skim over the game, just to review it.

The Adventure: The part of the game where you'll spend most of your time, if you're just doing a once through. Filled with nifty events that range anywhere from routine migrating tasks to absolutely bizarre, some even mildly disturbing. I found just about all of the events to be pretty alright, some way, way harder than others, but hey, that's the excitement of adventure no?

Survival: Hoo boy, though I got through it quickly enough, I admit, these stages were sketchy as hell to survive three minutes in for the Wagon Unlock.

Hard to Bear / Pain on the Plain: You play as one of the heroes, no wagon, left in the open to fend off against hoardes of beasties. These have a teense bit of RNG to them, in that f certain guns / health packs don't spawn, you can get completely swamped even with good manuever strats. Luckily, the item spawn rate is pretty good, so it's fine enough.

Just Deserts: This one I probably had the -hardest- time with out of the survivals. Getting to two minutes is easy enough, but that last minute is utter hell, with snakes swerving at you, scorpians chasing you and vultures trying to snipe you, I found myself praying to RNG that I'd make it through.

Fightng Fish: Honestly? Pretty easy. Pihrana / Jellies / Narwhales are the route I always take in the game (Desert scares me Q.Q).

Howlin Good Time: This mission. Despite wolves being angry little ♥♥♥♥♥, this was actually really, really fun. Testing your reaction / judgement speeds to line up with increasingly faster wolves to shoot them, or deciding if you need to just dodge passed them later in the trial.

Shuffle: Dear RNGeezus. I ask this day that you bless me with extra lubrication for the murderous violation I'm about recieve. Amen. (Shuffle is hell, 50 days in this is by far the single hardest thing I encountered in the game.)

-SPOILER ALERT-
Wagon Talk Incoming:

The Standard - "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." : I like it, decent shot rate, average power, but it does everything you need it to.

The Fantasy - "When you're feeling down and need some cheering up." : Hope you can get a differant gun to get hides to afford the weapon upgrade. Slow fire rate, average power, vaporizes hides. Sure, it shoots in five directions, two going behind'ish even, which can be handy if a wolf or summat slipped passed, but honestly, even with the weapon upgrade, I'm still not really a fan, I usually aim to switch the unlimited as soon as possible.

The Invisible - "Look Ma! I'm floatin'!" : This wagon has your dudes start with one hp, bit of a rough start, decent fire rate, average power. The invisible gimmick to it isn't so bad, I'm not even sure it's supposed to be a hinderence. This wagon isn't much differant from The Standard.

The Fast - "Speed Racer!" : Your dudes start with two hp each, good fire rate, average power, great manueverability. Not really a fan of this one, being able to move around fast is nice and all, but it's not much differant from The Standard.

The Glitch - "What's that Wagon? Timmy fell in the Well?" : Interesting, to say the least. Fire rate varies, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, avergae power, vaporises hides though, probably look to change the unlimited unless you get lucky with gun drops.

The Wild - "GG" : You more or less control the fire rate on this one, send your projectile a little away from you, or all the way across the screen. The Falcon has INSANE attack power, able to down even bosses in just a couple hit compared to the 20 or so shots it takes from other wagons. He also collects items, including hides and brings them to you, really lazy win. I <3 it.

The Coal-Fired - "Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" : Low fire rate, average attack. Awkward bullets. I don't really care what the advantages to this wagon are, I change the unlimited asap.

The Diseased - "Everybody has aids!~" : Low shot speed, average damage, aside from the disease effect, which kills anything it touches pretty much instantly. If you hate Buffalo, you'll love this wagon.

The Alien - "Wagon Phone Home." : Slow shot speed, but pretty high power, it's bullet splits into four more after connecting, which can wreck bosses of close knit groups of mobs. Vaporises hides unforunately.

The Ancient - "Go my children!" : Low fire rate, average - high power, it's bullets release additional projectiles that can keep hitting things.

The Eastern - "What's yours is mine and what's mine is also mine." : At first, the sword will probably seem bad. Practically no range, though it swings quickly. This weapon can actually reflect projectiles, remain calm and use enemy attacks agains tthem. And as an added bonus, if you can get close enough to something to hit it with the sword? It deals maybe the most damage in the game. There cna only be one!

The Modern - "Excersize? Healthy? Do those come with free cheeseburgers?" : Another one health per dude wagon. Fast shot rate, average power.

The Fancy - "We must be off soon Reginald~" : Fast burst fire, it can shoot five bullets really quickly before needing to stop for a second, it's pretty good, average power.

The Survivalist - "Shoot what you have to. Not what you want to." : Very fast fire rate, average damage, but limited ammo. You'll need to play your cards carefully to get by here.

The Golden - "All your wagons are belong to us." : Functions the same as The Standard, pretty much, but it makes rare events happen more often. Wagon hunting go!

The Random - "RNGeezus plz Q.Q" This wagon is... Random. It's appearance changes every screen, and it's unlimited will change every so often.

The Meta - "Wagons all the way acros the skyyyyyyy~" Slow shot speed, average power, but they do home in. This is the wagon you get for beating the game with every other wagon. I'm torn between thinking it's good and not, I didn't find a weapon upgrade for it, and without one, I was horribly tempted to change the unlimited.

Aside from all that, I also find the soundtrack pretty groovy. All in all, cute little game. I'd be down with seeing a seuqel or expansions, s'more wagons to incorportate the other weapons in the game as unlimiteds, more bosses, game modes, zones, maybe even survival challenges.

To the developers of this game, good job, and keep up the good work~<3

Congratulations and thanks for all the feedback! I didn't expect many (if any) people to completely 100% the game so it's awesome to know someone did :)

It was definately my plasure. I'm glad I could provide some feedback, maybe give people a bit more confidence to try out the game. I had a lot of fun with it, and again, would be all over any additional content that might come in the future. :3

I'd always love more content, even if ithe expansion was events exclusive to shuffle or something.

Wolf stage is pretty tough. Still need to improve 17 more secs to get 3-star :P
