Can anyone help with Tiltin' East Bridge 7?

Even working with guides it took me endless tweaking to make the regular trucks version work, and I'm completely stumped by the tank truck version. I tried this and this guide, the one on bridgeconstructor.net , plus all the tweaks suggested in comments under these, and neither of them worked.

The issue is always the same, the tank truck's front doesn't touch the star (sometimes just barely, sometimes by a far margin), so the level is invalid despite the truck passing the goal flag. I also tried each solution multiple times to minimise the influence of luck.

Any ideas? Was the game changed since those solutions apparently worked for others?

I think they may have changed something, however, I just tried my bridge 7 TE and it worked on the 3rd try. Make sure you place every cable in the exact same place -nothing extra. Then try it and if it starts to fail click the Hammer icon in the lower right corner before your semi explodes. Immediately try it again. Keep this up and it should work for you in 3 or 4 tries.

Hey. Thanks for the suggestion, I built your version, tried it 8 times, but the tank truck always just backed up until the star was around "fla" in "Inflammable". Here's a screenshot checking I did the exact same build:

I added some support to the existing which cost about 12000 more but it works.

Thanks for the effort! Maybe it's something with my game? Tried this build 10 times, and this is the closest it got on 2 tries:
