Indigo Park

Indigo Park

Excellent Playthrough on Linux
This game is 100% playable and completable on Linux with all graphical settings turned up to the max.

I only noticed one incredibly minor cosmetic flaw only after watching others play through the game on youtube and that was the Rambley water fountain before you enter Lloyd's Main Stage. The Rambley statue is supposed to be spitting water but I noticed on Linux this was the only thing that did not render. It could be because I had my graphics settings all cranked up to maximum but I'm not sure. One other tiny cosmetic issue I noticed was at least in the beginning entrance of the park some of the Indigo Park logos rendered much more "blocky" or shall I say lower resolution than one would anticipate with the graphics settings turned all the way up, other objects around the logo appeared to render fine so I'm not sure what the problem was there.

I did get greeted by a white screen when first launching the game with Proton Experimental. The way to get around that is to append this line to the launch options in Steam "WINE_DO_NOT_CREATE_DXGI_DEVICE_MANAGER=1 %command%"

Overall I enjoyed the game very much and look forward to chapter 2!

Thanks that worked for me too!
This fix did not work for me. Where the game previously froze on a white screen, it now gives a popup saying "Fatal error!" and nothing else, and then quitting. Looks like it's gonna be a long day of fiddling with NixOS jank for me...

UPDATE: All it took was removing that fix and using GE-Proton (v9.5 in my case) instead of the official Proton, and the game now works flawlessly!
