UPDATE?

the youtube page saying is out but the update is not out for v1.1 of this game and i did downloaded the game but nothing i am still on the older version please update your game for real

I'm seeing the new update and just played through it so not sure what's happening for you, maybe it didn't download correctly. I'd recommend verifying game integrity and seeing if that works - they also just released a patch so maybe that might fix it for you :)

The game was updated before the YouTube video's premiere played. If it didn't update for you, then it's possible the update was set to a later date for you and you have to update it manually.

Click on the bottom bar of Steam to check if there are any game update in queue. If there are none, then the issue is on Steam's end. Perhaps restarting Steam would work, or verifying the files' integrity as the person above suggested?

I think i have some good info : in the trailer towards the end theres "new sectrets" but it flashes : "OXY secrets".further more in the game before entering oceanic odessy there are 5 hidden plushies outside near the info kiosk and 1 in the security room. thats all i could find sadly.

Thats not how manually update, that does the same thing as trying to run the game when there's an update queued already.

This is how you manually update.

Any time you know an update for a game is already out, and you're not seeing it in the downloads page, restart steam and that *should* fix it. I say should because it sometimes takes a couple times to get it to pick up on it, especially if you have a lot of games installed.

Thats not how manually update, that does the same thing as trying to run the game when there's an update queued already.

Sometimes, automatic updates are set to a later date than the release date. In that case, you can click on the "update now" button so that Steam downloads and installs it immediately instead of waiting for said later date to do it.

For example, if an update is released on Friday, Steam may decide to download/install it for you automatically on Monday (so 3 days after the release). You could wait until Monday to get the update as your Steam planned, or you could just click on the "update now" button to get it now. That is updating the game manually.

i found 3 outside, one in hallway and one i sec room. where did you found the plushies?
also i noticed that there is a room next to the sec room.

i can understand the story being short but i just dont like the fact you cant explore the full areas at the start of the game when you find the critter cuff. its mostly blocked off by rubble and gates and alls id want is to just free roam around the entire area, guess im going to beat the game the 4th time now to see if i remember it good.

I also can't download the new update. It doesn't show up in my download queue, it doesn't show up when i re-start steam, or sign in and out of steam, and it doesn't appear on the "update history" page for the game. Idk what's up. I even uninstalled and re-downloaded the game, still the same, still can only see V1.0.2 as the most recent update.
