[SPOILERS] Why the blood?

So after you escape Molly the door shuts on her head and its gory, you can even see a meat like pattern on her neck and a ton of blood everywhere. My question is if these are animatronics what's with the blood? Like we know their not biological so why is there blood?

I'm pretty sure the Mollie that chases us wasn't an animatronic.
(but the one that's stuck backstage in Rambley Express when you need to fix the ride, that one was an animatronic.)

I feel like the organic versions of the mascots have something to do with the park closing down, but no way to tell until Chapter 2 gets released, which won't be anytime soon.

well, i do not think they are 'robots' . because in the arcade machine it shows they are animals that got possessed. i do not think they are robots.

If you look carefully at the security cameras in one of the rooms when you first enter the park you can see that Molly was chasing you on the train ride but couldnt catch up.

The mascots appear to be some sort of weird creature made by the park specifically, like some science project gone wrong rather than being animatronics. Llyod also has blood marks on him, that look more like injurys in some areas than him attacking people, such as blood at the base of his tail.
My best guess is that they are something Issac Indigo made. There is something off about him as his eyes and head follow you on his statue at the entrance.

Pretty sure it's biological. You can tell the animatronic in the Railroad isn't the same as the actual Mollie. I think the lore is that the alive mascots were a recent addition to replace the costumes and animatronics.

Yes, i noticed.
you can also spot the organic version of her during the ride aswell.
but there is also a stuck Mollie backstage who is an animatronic.

there are two Mollie's in Rambley's Express, one of which (the animatronic backstage) is stuck.
