No sound effects?

Music and voices play but there are absolutely no sound effects playing, anyone run into this who has a fix?

Windows 7. I don't know why but I left it alone for a couple hours, came back and the sound effects were working. I haven't had the issue since. Maybe it downloaded something missing while I was away.

mine is still not working, maybe you changed something on your system... deleted something? or changed drivers

This game have issues with the sound / video, my game was crashing at the end of the video.

ah i get all the videos just fine but i have no effects sound. i.e. background noises like walking, zombies eating... or sounds like zombies dying or getting attacked. basically if you went into options and changed the effects slider it would do nothing

found the fix for my audio issues.

If you are running your speaking on 5.1 or 7.1 and you have only 2 channel speakers (mine was set this was from my headset i hadn't tried with the game lol) they will not pick up anything from the effects slider!

So happy now :) I get to actually enjoy the game as it was meant to be enjoyed

I'm using 5.1 sound too and have the same problem with no sound effects,but when i use headphones its working without any problems.

Did you try just turning it to stereo to see if the sound begins to work for you?
