Controller acts like buttons stuck

XBox One controller, Windows 10

Works fine in a dozen other games. But start this up, and guy is stuck repeatedly trying to dash.

Controller issue that I haven't been able to fix.

Whenever I use the Xbox controller the run button is locked and my character will continually sprint. Any way to fix this?

I emailed 505Games customer support. I got a reply with a fix.

"Thank you for contacting us at 505 Games Support!

If you are playing the How to Survive game on steam an you are unable to use your XBOX Controllers properly, please try opening the game already in Full-screen.

Right-click on the game title under the Library in Steam and select Properties.
Under the General tab click the Set launch options... button.
Enter the following launch code option: -fullscreen
Click OK.
Close the game's Properties window and launch the game.

If you need anything else, please let us know!"

Continually Sprinting. XBONE Controller Issue.

Completely unplayable, Devs really need to look into this. My wife and I were really looking forward to some Co-Op zombie action.

Does this occur on only ONE, or 360 also?
Are your drivers current?
Have you rolled back your drivers to test?
Etc..

windows 10, using xbox one controller for win 10, its a plug and play driver- so im useing the most current
