Multiplayer? Questions?

So this game has multiplayer, the let question is how is it delivered? Meaning is it only LAN and port forwarding servers to play with your friends? Or does it simply let you start the game and invite your friends?

I know its too soon to ask, but im really excited and my friends are too. Please if you have an answer please submit it.

The game has multiplayer support in two ways:
Online challenge modes
Offline story mode with characters all on the same screen.

So in other words, if you want to play the story with your friends, you'll be right next to each other huddled around the computer (with controllers) or (and I advise this) playing on the ps3 or xbox on the couch.

The challenges sound interesting, but I am a PC gamer and play games with my husband. We'll be either passing on this game or buying it on the PS3.

Hey. I have to admit that the only resources I bothered to read was the first one on this forum that you linked to. It said there would be online multiplayer and Local CO-OP on Wii U. Somewhat disapointed with these news!

That is because that is its "current state." That may change in the near future. I cannot replace that info since it is true.
