How do I destroy barricades?

Hey guys, I was just wondering how I destroy barricades. Do I need an axe, because i haven't found a stone yet

You can only destroy barricades when you can make explosives such as explosive molotov or arrows. Just progress with the storyline, Kovac will eventually teach you how to make one, and from then on you can make as many as you want to throw at barricades and blow them up.

i got no fertilizer anymore. where to find it? i cant destroy the barricade to get to the npc.

Each island should have one fertiliser depot. Not really shown on the map. But nonetheless shouldn't be too hard to find. Normally not too far from a sleeping shack.

Using explosive molotovs are more effective than arrows. Sometimes arrows don't register. Been a few situations where I've shot close to 30 arrows from different angles before it registered.

yeah I was having a tough time with this also .. I wasn't using the map right I guess
