Communication In Game?
Me and my friends play co-op and we communicate with steam message, but you know shift+tab ing when playing the game is too trouble some. Is there any ways to do it without steam message?

nope, I suggest using teamspeak or skype

You could also use/creat non-verbal communication. When I play games, shaking violently is enough to convey "stop", "wait", or "no". Repeated small steps indicate the direction I'm suggesting to go.

In H2S you could take it a step further by dropping items to signal something. E.g. Cloth could be to heal up stats. Arrows/Ammo to pause for crafting/item inventory. Plants to head to base and restock. Etc.

mumble has worse audio quality than TS, and less options to adapt the volume per person (which is good because not every player has same volume of voice/same mic). And also requires a server like TS...

so it's an option but "good" no lol xD
