I thought some of the ideas were entertaining, but lots of the humour was very hit and miss. It's a very short game and i tried to give it a fair chance, but didn't gel with it in the end.

It's hard for me to give Jazzpunk a negative review, but I ultimately feel I would be lying would I give it a positive one. It very much feels like the definition of "safe edgy". I think I would only recommend it to those who enjoy quirky humour and expect nothing else. I do enjoy the humor, but everything else about it felt like the developers were flying by the seats of their pants, and it didn't work out - an art project that was abandoned halfway through and rushed out for whatever they could get. The game ends abruptly and nonsensically. The gameplay and narrative itself is incoherent, and is mostly just a pretext to pass the player from one quirky joke to another. Light surrealism but nothing pushing the boundaries.

If you enjoy this type of humor, I suppose you may enjoy it enough. But if not, there's much better games to be spending your time on. The "Off-Peak" series is recommended for those looking for this type of humor but with both a more surreal and yet coherent narrative.

Point and click everything. Boring.

The game is decently amusing but extremely short, even if you take your time and try to go through all the optional dialog. Only consider purchasing under a very heavy sale.
