Making non-DC version available on different branch
Can you make the previous non-Director's Cut version available on a different branch? I guess that may be interesting to some people and it wouldn't hurt, would it?

That would also be a nice addition, the subtle changes you guys have made have took away a lot of the charm the original version had

Yes, please. I want the original version too.

Sex jokes got censored, level designs of some levels changed, NPC's don't spam chat in Wedding Cake (used to be called Wedding Qake). Overall, stuff removed, stuff censored.

You want the original Jazzpunk? Try other sites that sell the game.

We payed for the original Jazzpunk and want that one. Buying it again would be a non-custimer-friendly solution.

Luckily they took so long to update the Linux version that I could make a backup of that one and copy additional Windows binaries in there, so now I can play the classic version on both systems.

Shìt, I didn't even realize they renamed it. Can't be legal reasons right? Since Qake != Quake.

The quake/Cake thing name change is ok, but why the censoring on sexual related jokes?

You get bunch of anime games where people are having sexual fantasy about pixels but only jokes without much of visual content such some manga borderline hentai steam games aren't much censored?

This make no sense.

Director cut is usually to add content that was cut because it was too subjective for public usage, but at home it's fine, not the reverse like Jazzpunk are doing ...

what realy makes it strange is that its a adult swim game

the only "sex" joke that was changed, was that the robot slaps you with a fish instead of vibrating against you. this was done for PS4 ESRB ratings, we just forgot to change it back for the PC version. this will likely be fixed in the next week or so.

Adult Swim does not publish this game any longer. Adult Swim has no bearing on how "adult" something is.

" Overall, stuff removed, stuff censored." there is over 30-60 minutes of new content in the director's cut, the idea that you took one animation change and a Plant saying a different (text) joke as censorship, is quite a hyperbolic statement.

People begged us for months for the Director's Cut to come to PC, and when we finally brought it, we didn't charge you a dime for the upgrade.
