Unknown Exception Error

Hello.

So I am attempting to play Metal Slug 3, but upon my first time running the program, I recieve an error message that says "an unknown exception has occured," and the game will not open. I think this is in regards to the various redistibutables that are needed to install before the game opens for the first time.

Has anyone had a similar error and can anyone give me a suggestion on how to deal with this?

Same here.
No fix so far, I'll keep looking. If I find something, I'll post here.

Had the same problem in windows 10, pressing Alt + Enter fixed the Issue for me. That way it launched in a small Window and i could set the Resolution to 2560 x 1440 without any problem. Long Shot, but trying wouldn't hurt i guess.
