As per mentioned, I do see that it is possible to beat this game with 20 credits but it's for the more casual players who aren't able to do so. Also, the rebuttal of "Get good!" won't do any good if the casual player doesn't even own the game and has to go to my place just to play it.
Again, I'm just wondering if there was a method to actually make the credits infinite.
The enjoyment is in the prospect of failure. Having a vulnerability heightens the experience. Being able to just slog it out and die over and over and over without actual consequence will bore.
Seriously, if you need infinite credits, this really isn't a game for you. You'd be better suited finding something different, probably.
Best line I've read today. I believe your point is right but it can't be applied for everyone. As for me, I'd go with it and actually get good. To some, they don't have the patience to do so as they are "casual" gamers. They're the type who buttong mash in the arcades and I'd be happy enough to oblige to thier need for a co-op fun. I mean like it's hilarious sometimes to just watch them die at the most stupid things because they actually try to dodge the bullets.
Thanks, this would be an option for my friend.
Btw if there were an infinite credits mode, it would allow for the creation of a new achievement which is to beat the game with the default 20 credits or adding a more hardcore one which is beating the game with a single credit. I don't know, it may be just me but being able to adjust the amount of credits on these classic arcade games may give motivation for achievement hunters.
