Shoot at your feet ?

Greetings !

I experienced a n embarassing situation : I was at the Stage 3, in this kind of factory with iron bridges and an orange background, going up with elevators, when I came across two levels of monsters : soldiers right in front of me, which I killed, and soldiers beneath me with rocket launchers (on the lower floor) that I couldn't kill, no matter what. I didn't find any way to climb down, nor to shoot them through the floor. Grenades didn't get them either.

Did I miss something ? Thanks !

You can shoot downwards when you jump

jump+ shoot down, if you have played metal slug before you would know

You can jump and shoot directly below you.
