Man, I know JUST the controller for this if I'm gonna play local co-op! I have the whole control panel off a NEO-GEO cab[media.giantpachinkomachineofdoom.com], from when I was trying to build one up from parts (Before I found a whole cabinet I could actually acquire.) I used to use it with a single-slot NEO-GEO motherboard and an RGB to VGA adapter to make something I called 'The UNCABINET[media.giantpachinkomachineofdoom.com]' that I could just hook up to any computer monitor, heh.
Sometimes I wonder why it's so hard for games to just work with any controller that windows can 'see', no questions asked.
Like all those "Oh god, does the game support Xinput or DirectInput APIs?" problems people keep having with PS3 controllers and having to make it emulate a 360 controller for some games...
Meanwhile some games will just randomly work with stuff they're not supposed to... Like I had a game go completely nuts, and it turned out that it was reading input from a currently inactive interface I have for my 6-channel RC controller (For flying drones.) because when nothing's hooked up it gets random analog values.
Secondly, you guys should really mention and advertise the 2 player co-op on one screen somewhere on your page. It should say that you can play locally 2 players or 2 players over Steam.
Also the game will most likely be released between mid and late February. It just started the closed beta not too long ago!
