Is there ANY reason not to port Metal Slug Anthology instead of all separate episodes ?

Like, for real ?

Metal Slug Anthology was packed with all first seven episodes for a rather cool price at launch, unfortunately not many copies were made and it became a valuable item quite fast.
Why is there no re-release of this version and instead all separate episodes, quite pricey in the same time when not on sale ? Just like they did recently with Street Fighter 30th Anniversary for example.

Except greed I don't see any reason for that, SNK always wanted more and more money compared to other companies at the time (not saying they weren't far above quality-wise), but really, it just doesn't sound right that we have to buy every single Metal Slug game right now and not a single, polished package with all the games. Not to mention, Metal Slug 6 would require extra work compared to the others on a separate version because Atomiswave has nothing to do with Neo-Geo about emulation. It would have been way easier to simply port the Anthology has a whole.

So, what's the explanation ?

Not only they ported the games separately, but they did it really bad.

There's indeed a PC version already, I totally forgot this one, never played it though that's my excuse the one I had was the Wii version. That means there's even less excuses to put all games separately on steam...

I still have the Wii anthology (+MS1 on the Wiiware) with the NeoGeo pad for the Wii...

Still sad as well because of how the serie isn't well known and how SnK is now making it into a mobile f2p game.... I don't think we'll ever get the post-SNK games on Steam anytime soon...
