What does the orange border on cards mean?

Pretty much title, osmetimes my cards have an orange border

It's for cards that have a conditional effect (miracle, vengeance, assault, etc):
The card will have an orange border if the effect isn't active, and it will have a yellow border if the effect is active.

I get this even just on strikes though

Hm, if it's for regular strikes I'm not sure why it would have an orange border, unless you upgraded the strike so it has one of those situational keywords added.

The orange border indicates that the card is playable. either it is free (no mana cost) or you have the appropriate mana resources to play the card.

Orange Border- playable with your current mana
Yellow- a special condiction (Flow, Miracle, Vengeance) has been triggered and the card is playable.
Red- the card is playable but its targeting means one or more targets can counter it.

Green- A Wild Card, playable without the listed Mana cost but you pay 1 Injury per Mana
