It made me appreciate things like the track of the second-to-last boss more when I actually got there. The simple way that each tune is 'split' into several sub-sections that kick in depending on the enemy's health - good stuff.
I think the only song that was ever outright changed entirely was the placeholder main menu theme, everything else was just Jeff iterating and improving.
The other tracks were tweaked many many times during development but mostly based around the dynamic systems used in gameplay, the OST versions are fairly different while still being the same core because they have no dynamics based on gameplay performance.
You can sample all the tracks for free on the bandcamp link in the OP.

Are you having trouble accessing or downloading the song?
Or is it not the song you were after?
Or something else?
I'm not sure why or how, but the sound is much more distorted (electric) in both mp3 and flac versions, while the one in game is more "covered" (forgive me, I really can't explain this properly in english). It's pretty clear if you open the game and listen to the music in character select screen vs the flac running in vlc.
Any way to extract the song as is played within the game, or apply some effects to the FLAC version to obtain a similar result?
