How to coop/multiplayer without mods

I will tell you how to make multiplayer in this game Without mods
There is 2 ways I know

But most of the first you need to connect controller
Recommend Xbox controller,
There can be 4 player coop

Make sure you plug in controller before the game


1st way: Active editor mode, Choose yourself And copy (Ctrl+c) And then insert copy (Ctrl+v)
And you will got second (or more) screen in game

2nd way: Create a guy, Choose him and make him playble by pressing Ctrl+Shift+P, You can make him or yourself non controllable anymore by pressing Ctrl+K


Now you can have fun with your friend!

It has been changed to ctrl+shift+p. You can change the editor keybinding in the config file if you like.

when i do it, a single rabbit is controlled with the mouse and keyboard. but instead of the controller controlling the second rabit, it just works as a second controller for the first

oh nevermind, i just un plugged and pluged it in again

But I unplugged and plugged in but both my controller and keyboard control the first one and its not making a second screen

Splitscreen is not working currently. There were a lot of graphical errors due to the changes in a210 and until those are fixed splitscreen is disabled.

how do you change the input setup for the second player. I can only change player ones input at the moment

The only way I know is using SUMLauncher for overgrowth.
in SUMLauncher you can change the keyboard settings and also controller settings
I havent tried to change the settings for second player using sumlauncher, but I think it might work


Also, this post is pretty old, The coop might have been changed alot
