Noob question: How do I make characters follow a path?

I believe you're looking for the Follow tool in the Utilities (same place you get all your items). You can link path point by holding alt and clicking on them, and then selecting your character.

One last thing, Can i make one character follow another? like say a group of guards following me into fighting a wolf ?

Non of the things you guys are saying are u p to date, i want to make a path point where the ai can follow the points that form a path

There's a path point in the utilities tab in the load item section of the editor. place it and use click+alt to link it to a character

Thanks this post helped me but I saw in the alpha 209 video that the guy could make it so they like sat and stuff

Spawn a path point, attach it to an NPC. Then press U with the pathpoint selected to open the parameters. In the first text field, the one called Type, replace "Stand" with "Sit" (has to be written with a capital S).It works with "Sleep" as well. Not sure if there are any other states.
