Report a translation problem
There is no option to send any bug report once the game crashes. No error message appears on the screen.
We are unable to give refunds for purchases made through Steam, I don't think you'll be able to get a refund since they have the 2 week thing, but I hope you'll be able to!
send the bug report in an email to bugs@wolfire.com and make sure you include the "hwreport" file from your "Macintosh HD/Users/YourUsername/Library/Application Support/Overgrowth/Data/" folder if you're using Mac, and the "logfile" from your "Macintosh HD/Users/YourUsername/Library/Application Support/Overgrowth/" folder.
This is a very bad bug, so hopefully we'll be able to figure this out soon!
i bought and installed the game yesterday but it won´t run after clicking "play"
i thought maybe someone found a simple soloution after all the time. using mac btw
I have found the game sometimes takes a long time to launch if I try to run it through Steam, while Steam is online. So running in offline mode tends to work better sometimes.
I have also found that sometimes when running it through Steam it can get hung up permanently, and I have to open Activity Monitor to kill it.
Not sure if either of those things will help you, but worth a shot.
