Tired of all this bs of "sTeAm iS a mOnOpOlY, sTeAm 30% iS bAd 4 dEvS" when we all know there're multi million $$$ deals behind all of those claims and not a genuinly good reason to hate on a platform like Steam.
You sure about that?
Their games hardly count as finished to begin with...
Reading is hard for you?
I just said they weren't "good games"
I hope life is also such white and black as you think.
Fun fact Humble takes like 40% on book bundles and like 45-50% on software bundles last I checked. I don't see anyone going full bleeding heart for those authors or developers.
I also don't see any of the developers and companies REEEing at Steam doing anything of value for the actual customers. It's always about more money in their pockets.
Also
This. It all started because Epic Fail Games are giving ridiculous ammounts of money to devs to "encourage them leave a bIg bad mOnOpOlIsTiC pLaTfOrM fOr oUr fRiEnDlY rObIn hOoD sToRe"
Example of this: Itch.io = 2% xD
Epic Vs Apple/google = Apple win, not more fornite in apple/play store.
Game over fortnite debs...
Saying of the day: Choosing a side has consequences. Choosing all sides brings benefits.
Welcome Sony Studios to steam
Summary: sell your game on all platforms and enjoy life
You already had your drama time, congratulations debs...
Although the trial was in a draw and there were no disputes, technically Apple / google won since Fortnite is not in the store of both companies today.
The judge defended the two reasons:
-Apple:
criticize apple for earning a lot of money and facilitating access to some companies such as amazon, from which it charged less
(Interestingly, epic did the same with sony and the cross game, which charged 30% and on top of that they paid sony extra)
-Epic:
They criticized the above, and in addition the judge told him the following:
"The house of Apple, the rules of Apple, the same as a user when buying an Iphone accepts a contract, when you are in Apple you accept another contract, if you don't like it, you leave.
Won:
Google / Apple = no fortnite in stores
Extra (collateral damage):
Sony brings exclusives to steam because Epic sold them at the trial, Days Gone = Sony Studios on Steam.

Many companies because of epic that filtered their data in the trial lost confidence with it, the example sony
